The day starts at Nimrod’s Fortress. While exploring the fortress, the history of the land and the battles including the Mamluks and the Crusaders that surround the area and fortress will be discussed. Views of the Golan Heights and the Hula Valley are breathtaking.
A delicious lunch will be served at a Druze village. Discussions over lunch may include who the Druze are and how they fit into israel today
The most important stop of the day of course is the Mount Oden Winery. A butik winery owned by the Alfasy family. Learning about how the wine is made proceeds the wine tasting
