Our border tours are loaded with unique perspective and learning while exploring the northern most tips of Israel

The story of Syria and Lebanon from an interesting point of view

First we will drive north to the border with Lebanon. From an observation point overlooking Lebanon, we will discuss the shared history, current contentions, and guess at what the future might hold

From there, we will drive east to climb into the Golan Height. A delicious lunch will be served at a Druze village. Discussions over lunch may include who the Druze are and how they fit into Israel today

Our final stop of the day is an ancient volcano with views looking into Syria. We will learn about the history of the Golan Heights, from the days of the Ottoman Empire, to the British and French role, to Syrian rule and how it finally became part of Israel
